About VerdeLedger

VerdeLedger is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the European Union prepare voluntary sustainability reports under the EFRAG VSME standard. Customers sign in, add evidence they already maintain — existing reports, KPI workbooks, questionnaire responses, or operating records — and produce reviewable VSME Basic (B1–B11) disclosures, expanding to Comprehensive (C1–C9) pilot scope when banks, investors, or supply-chain partners require it.

We operate primarily in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and Germany, serving content in English, Dutch, French, and German. The interactive product is available at verdeledger.eu, with public guidance on the VerdeLedger blog.

How we use the Google Ads API

VerdeLedger runs Google Ads Search and Performance Max campaigns to reach SME decision-makers searching for ESG and sustainability-reporting solutions across our four markets. We are building an internal-only tool that connects to the Google Ads API to operate these campaigns more efficiently.

What the tool does

Reporting (read): pull campaign, ad group, keyword, and geographic performance metrics (impressions, clicks, cost, conversions) into our internal acquisition dashboard.
Campaign management (write): add and remove keywords, adjust bids by region and language, and adjust campaign budgets based on performance.
Account management: pause and enable campaigns on a schedule.

Scope and access

Who uses it	VerdeLedger employees only, including outsourcing and contractor staff working for VerdeLedger (internal use). Not exposed to customers or any third party.
Accounts	A single, VerdeLedger-owned Google Ads account. No third-party or client accounts are managed.
No reselling	No reselling, white-labeling, or sublicensing of API access.
Campaign types	Search, Performance Max.
Capabilities	Account management, campaign management.
Data handling	Reporting output is stored locally for an internal dashboard and audit trail. No customer data is sent to the API; no API data is shared externally or with end users.
